Core Technology Our Dentists Use

CEREC is an all-in-one system that enables us to scan your teeth, design and fabricate restorations, and then place them — all in a single office visit.

Cone Beam is computed tomography (CT) technology that yields high-resolution 3D images of your mouth at 1/20 the level of radiation exposure compared to most CAT/CT machines currently used in hospitals.

DIAGNOdent is a small, innovative device that uses laser technology to quickly and painlessly find cavities, decay, and other conditions in your teeth that are difficult to see with the unaided eye.

VELscope is a handheld tool that we use to detect everything from cavities to oral cancer symptoms such as lesions. It’s especially critical when you’re experiencing an issue with no symptoms evident, as it can catch a problem while it’s still manageable. The device works through Fluorescence Visualization (FV), where a blue light is shone into your mouth, and problem areas become visible on a screen.

Using this wand-like camera we can take high-quality, close-up images of the interior of your mouth, enabling us to show you problem areas on the spot and provide more precise, effective treatment.

This 3D scanner enables us to take a digital impression of your mouth that’s more accurate—and kinder to your taste buds—than the traditional sticky putty method.
